For Justin, restoring the worn edges of his front teeth started with addressing the older dental work and bite relationship that were contributing to the problem.
Justin was experiencing wear along the edges of his upper front teeth, partly related to dental work that had been completed decades earlier. He had a cantilevered crown replacing a missing lower front tooth, and together we decided that removing this restoration would make his bite easier to improve and his long-term care easier to maintain. After the cantilevered crown was removed, Justin completed Invisalign to create a healthier bite relationship. We then restored his front teeth with cosmetic composite bonding, first rebuilding the worn lower edges of the teeth and then replacing the existing stained composite to create a cleaner, more even appearance.
