I’ve always loved working with my hands.
There’s something deeply satisfying about shaping something small and precise that can change the way someone feels about themselves. Dentistry, at its best, lives in that space — part science, part design, part human connection.
But the truth is, the work I’m most proud of is never mine alone.
Every great result is the outcome of a team moving in sync — assistants anticipating the next step, hygienists noticing what others might miss, front desk teammates setting the tone before a patient ever sits in the chair. I love that dentistry is a choreography. When it’s done well, patients don’t see the complexity. They just feel cared for.
I’m endlessly motivated by the moment someone sees their smile and softens. Sometimes it’s subtle — a quieter confidence. Sometimes it’s tears. Sometimes it’s just a long exhale. That moment never gets old.
Over the years, I’ve become less interested in “fixing teeth” and more interested in restoring ease — in helping people feel at home in their own mouths again. Teeth are technical. People are not. The real work is understanding both.
I still get excited about materials, about precision, about the tiny details that most people will never consciously notice. I care about how things fit. How they feel. How long they’ll last. I care about whether we did it in a way that honors the person sitting in front of us.
Dentistry is intimate work. It requires trust and I don’t take that lightly.
If you spend a day with our team, you’ll see what I love most: talented clinicians who genuinely enjoy each other, who challenge each other to get better, and who believe that beautiful, thoughtful care should feel human — not clinical.
I feel incredibly lucky to do this work with them.
And if you’re here, I’m grateful for the chance to do it with you.

While I hold membership to many professional associations, I’m indebted to a handful of special clinicians who’ve had an outsized impact on my development as a clinician, including Dr. Ravi Koka, Dr. Robert Winter, Dr. Robert Quinn, and doctors Kirk Pasquinelli, Nicole Olivares and Matty Hashimoto at SF Perio & Implants.
Outside of work you’ll find me and my family enjoying time outside in our garden, in the mountains, or at the beach if it’s up to me!
That’s me in the back, chasing my younger brother per usual.
